The fifth edition of our festival in the Castello di Postignano village has as its key event the exhibition of photographs by Dorothea Lange (1895-1965).
This great American documentary photographer is famous for the expressive power and artistic quality of her works, first of all, "Migrant Mother" considered an icon in the history of photography and preserved in the Library of Congress in Washington. The exhibition will open in Naples, Galleria Trisorio, on 9 June and in Castello di Postignano on 11 June, where it will remain open until 9 January 2017.
The program also includes, as every year, events of various kinds: meetings with authors (Daniel Pennac, Maurizio de Giovanni, Vittoria Garibaldi who will talk with Marco Carminati, Marino Niola, Mario Martone, Giulia Sissa, Alessandro Delpriori, Massimiliano Scuriatti who will talk with Massimo Valli, Giuseppe Bearzi), classical music concerts (Beate Perrey, singers of the Experimental Lyric Theater of Spoleto "A. Belli", Laura Andriani, Suzie Leblanc, Elinor Frey, Mariacarla Notarstefano, Fiorella Rambotti,
Alessandra Gentile, Christian Schmitt, Diletta Masetti, Alessandro Bistarelli, Marco Scolastra, Maura Menghini, Mauro Businelli, Roberto Cecchetti, Alessandro Zucchetti), jazz concerts (The Hill), contemporary music (Michela Musco, Alessandro Musco, Alfredina De Vincenzi), conferences (Mariella Pandolfi, Helga Brichet ), and, for the first time, a film review to be held every Thursday at 6 pm, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Sellano.
From this year some events will take place in the recently completed Rose Garden.
Castello di Postignano will host an internship at the University of West Georgia, USA in June, and a drawing course by Michèle Delisle, Concordia University, Canada in October
