In the small square around the old wood-fired oven, where residents once baked their bread, you can now enjoy pizza and other dishes. The oven was once central to village life: bread was baked once a week and shared among all the villagers. Its restoration, together with that of the church bells, was one of the first signs of Castello di Postignano’s new life.
